Recently, sponsored by Tianjin Meat Association and organized by China Life & Property Insurance Co., LTD. Tianjin Branch, the seminar "Facilitating the Integrated Development of Tianjin Port, Industry and City, Promoting the New economic growth of Port Frozen Products" was held in our city. It is understood that Tianjin will vigorously develop the deep processing industry of frozen products and speed up the construction of cold chain logistics distribution centers and processing centers in northern China.

In 2022, the frozen imports at Tianjin Port reached a new high, ranking first in both quantity and value in China. In this seminar, Tianjin Branch of China Life & Property Insurance Co., Ltd. signed a strategic cooperation agreement with Tianjin Meat Association to launch tariff performance guarantee insurance business of imported frozen products at preferential rates, further reducing costs for import enterprises.

Tianjin is a pilot city for standardization of cold chain circulation of agricultural products, and has a national backbone cold chain logistics base, with obvious advantages in infrastructure, policy system and port environment. Municipal Bureau of Commerce relevant person said, the city will introduce policies to encourage further promote the development of cold chain industry, support the expansion of the scale of frozen imports. At the same time, focusing on key cold chain projects, we will build intensive processing gathering areas for imported frozen products and cultivate a service platform for the whole industrial chain of imported frozen products.
